Bode Sports Complex is a part of the city of St. Joseph s Parks and Recreation Department. Opened in 1999, the complex offers various outdoor activities for youths. It receives funds from the George Bode Jr. trust and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. The complex features a basketball facility with color-coded benches, scoreboards and pro-style glass backboards. It maintains a more than 25,500 square feet Bode Ice Arena that features locker rooms, video games, restrooms, and tables and chairs. The complex conducts ice skate classes. In association with the Greater St. Joseph Youth Hockey Association, it hosts hockey practice sessions. Bode Sports Complex is located in St. Joseph, Mo.
