This is Elks Lodge 2162, home of the Massapequa chapter of this 141-year-old fraternal and social organization. The Elks are incharitable and service endeavors. The Elks National Foundation is the charitableportion of theElks. Overall, the Elks have almost one million members throughout the United States. Lodge 2162 holds weekly meetings, normally on Mondays. Lodge 2162 has a lounge area with a bar, private tables, and flat-screen TVs. It hosts bingo games every Tuesday. There is also a lodge room for catered affairs, and the hall can be rented to the general public.
