In 2010, owner Crystal openedFoxy & Fierce Women's Kickboxing Bootcamp in the Seido Karate Hollywood Dojo within the shopping center at La Brea and Sunset. Currently a full-time karate instructor, Crystal is a Sandan, or third degree black belt, in Seido Karate. She has translated her defense training into a fat-burning, muscle-growing kickboxing boot camp for women. The class lasts one hour and incorporates Muay Thai fighting techniques, pilates and yoga. The first class is free and subsequent classes cost as low as five dollars each. Crystal also offers one-on-one training for and affordable 40 dollars per session. Members can also take advantage of Foxy and Fierce's Saturday outdoor class, which allows pets.
