Our office accepts new patients, both from professional referrals and by self-appointment. We desire to provide optimal dental health management, periodontal disease diagnosis and treatment, and dental implant services to our patients. Our services include oral diagnosis, periodontal status and treatment/management consultations, diagnostic biopsy, (tooth) crown lengthening, gingival (gum) grafting, oral/periodontal cosmetic surgery, extractions with or without ridge preservation/reconstruction, dental implant placement or implant repair procedures, temporary orthodontic attachment device placements, orthodontic retainer fabrication, occlusal (bite) adjustments and/or guards, and supportive dental hygiene maintenance. These services are provided with good manners, fairness, and the proper applications of common sense and professional judgment. We respect the individual patient, and believe it is their responsibility to fully participate in their own case management and clinical treatment. We make commitments with care, and give our best efforts in our undertakings. Dr. Gaskins originally practiced as a general dentist. He also was a part-time faculty member at the VCU School of Dentistry. There he taught occlusion, clinical microbiology, and periodontics. He is a Past President of the Virginia Board of Dentistry. Dr. Gaskins understanding of what is required to perform optimal restorative and cosmetic dentistry oftentimes allows the possibility of offering varying levels and costs of treatment plans for patients cases.
