Maine Prairie High School is a small continuation school that is situated on E C Street not far from downtown Dixon. Six full- and part-time teachers serve about 100 students. The school has a Leadership Club that gives its members an opportunity to be involved in the community. The club hosts car shows and festivals in Dixon and creates a sense of accomplishment for students. The school is highly visible from E C Street, and is located next to Anderson Elementary School.
