William Mason High School offers education to more than 2,000 students in grades nine through 12. Its curriculum includes subjects, such as mathematics, computer programming, physics, English, statistics, calculus, chemistry, biology, and Spanish and American history. Its classroom features a DVD player, telephone with voicemail facilities and multimedia computers. The school provides a wide variety of sports activities that include baseball, basketball, bowling, cross country, cheerleading, football, golf, gymnastics, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming, polo and wrestling. The extracurricular activities offered by the school include band, chorus, drama, presentations and intramurals. It offers a variety of services, such as career counseling and planning. The school is a part of the Mason City School District.
