The Muslim American Youth Academy is a private school for Muslim youth and is connected to the Islamic Center of America. The school aims to provide interested families with a high-quality education, while also incorporating Islamic values into lessons. In addition to regular courses in math, English, science, history and other classes, MAYA students also spend time learning to speak and write Arabic, reading and understanding the Qur'an, Islamic history and Islamic ettiquette. All students are also able to participate in daily group prayer. MAYA also features a pre-school for children ages 3-4.
