Nichols Elementary School is part of the Oceanside Unified School District. The school services children K-5.Students are in attendance from 8:55am - 3:35pm daily, except on Wednesdays, which is an early dismissal day (1:05pm). Teachers are on campus daily from 8am - 4pm, and breakfast is served daily from 8:20am - 8:50am. Second Chance breakfast is available during morning recess hours. Nichols students are required to wear a school uniform daily. The uniform is white, navy-blue and light-blue tops, with a collar and sleeves, tucked in, along with navy-blue pants (no denim), shorts, skorts, skirts or jumpers. Before- and after-school child care is provided on-site by Boys and Girls Club from 6am - 6pm.
