The Schaumburg Police Department works to preserve the public peace, prevent crime, protect life and property, apprehend criminals, and detect and arrest individuals who break the law and disregard village ordinances. The department regulates vehicle and pedestrian traffic and offers a wide variety of educational, safety and crime prevention programs.
