Hospice of Petaluma has provided in-home care for terminally-ill and dying patients since 1977. Nurses are sent to the homes of patients, providing them with care, as well as psychological, emotional and spiritual issues that arise at the end of life. Hospice of Petaluma also provides free grief services for the community. Hospice of Petaluma is part of St. Joseph Health System and has two other facilities in the region, with a total of 140 employees.
