It happened to us! We lived in our home for 2 years and all of a sudden our place was being sold and we had to move! The hard part is over! So we thought! The moving company texted us at 3 a.m. the night before our move to cancel. I was mortified! We found a same day moving company at 8 a.m. online and scheduled a move that would take place at 2p.m. We received a phone call at 1:30 p.m. notifying us that the movers would be 2 hours late. The movers arrived 2.5 hours late and started 30 minutes after arrival. The movers were texting and having personal conversations, including profane language in front of our children upon completion, the movers charged us $150 over the quoted rate.
