Dr. Taylor began her dermatology practice in Portland as a staff physician with Providence Medical Group. After practicing with Providence for several years, Dr. Taylor started her own full service medical and surgical dermatology clinic at her current location in the medical offices of the Lloyd Center. Prior to practicing medicine, Dr. Taylor earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of California at Berkeley, graduating with High Distinction and election to Phi Beta Kappa. She earned her law degree from Boalt Hall School of Law at U.C. Berkeley and practiced as an attorney in probate and estate planning in San Francisco. While volunteering her time as a pro bono attorney for low-income clients and non-profit organizations through the San Francisco Bar Association, Dr. Taylor won recognition from the State Bar of California for her volunteer services. While practicing law, a growing interest in medicine prompted a career change, and Dr. Taylor was admitted to the School of Medicine at the University of California at San Francisco. She graduated from UCSF as a Regents Scholar and was elected to the national medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha. Following a year-long internship in Internal Medicine at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, California, Dr. Taylor completed her residency in Dermatology at Oregon Health and Science University. She achieved board certification by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Taylor has lectured on skin cancer and general dermatology topics at various venues including the Pacific Northwest Dermatological Scientific Conference in Washington, the Compass Oncology Educational Series in Portland, the National Charity League, Parkinsons Resources of Oregon, and other community organizations, and she has appeared on the television program Fox 12 Good Day Oregon discussing skin cancer prevention. Dr. Taylor is a Patients’ Choice Award Winner and has received Compassionate Doctor certification based on patient reviews over the years. In her free time, Dr. Taylor volunteers with various philanthropic organizations via the National Charity League including Special Olympics Oregon and the Oregon Historical Society. She enjoys hiking, photography and spending time with her husband, two children and dog Lucy.
