UpTime Electric, located in College Park, Ga., designs, installs and maintains power, lighting and automated electrical systems for any size industrial, commercial and retail electrical project. The company provides work for a variety of projects, including industrial, power quality, corporate communications, building intelligence, construction, controls, maintenance, utilities and technology. Its services include design/build, emergency, outdoor lighting, power metering, medium and high voltage distribution, lightning protection systems, CCTV systems, fire alarm and sound systems, security systems and fiber optic cabling. One of the company s major projects was work done for Delta Airlines. UpTime was responsible for the removal of the existing 1460V substations and their primary and secondary feeders, along with their replacement by the new 12470V substations and the associated primary loops and secondary feeders. UpTime Electric was formed in 1992 with the merger of Yukon Electric and Michael Electric.
