Allied Physicians of Michiana, established in 1997, combines the business operations of multiple physicians in several group practices of varying size and specialty, into a single company. Its objective is to enable the physicians involved to devote their time and talents to patient care rather than administrative duties. It includes specialties and practices such as general and vascular surgery, heart ailments, orthopedics, nerve surgery and neurosurgery. It also includes other practices that include obstetrics and gynacology, urology and otorhinolaryngology. The clinic has expanded its services by opening a new ambulatory surgery center to relieve the scheduling pressures on hospital operating rooms.
