Western State College, located in Gunnison, Colo., is a four-year, coeducational, college, enrolling more than 2,400 students. It offer a wide variety of programs leading to a bachelors degree, and its majors includes subjects, such as accounting, anthropology, art, biology, business administration, chemistry, communication and theatre, computer information science, economics and education. Additionally, it offers other majors, such as English, exercise and sports science, geology, history, mathematics, music, politics and government, psychology, sociology and Spanish. Western State College offers more than 50 clubs and organizations on campus, a radio and television station, and various sports, including men s golf, wrestling, skiing and basketball, and women s volleyball, basketball and softball.
