The name "Alkar Travel" is an aggregate of the two original ladies who started the business We bought our partners share of the business prior to their departure from Virginia, but retained the original name. Alkar Travel later became Knightsbridge Corporation, along with Gaela Weddings Worldwide and Britannia Golf as separate departments. Knightsbridge Corporation works in cooperation with the tourist offices of Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Monaco, Scotland, Cyprus, Finland, Sweden, France, South Africa, Australia and Iceland.
