Berkshire Community College, founded in 1960, offers associate degrees in arts and science to more than 2,500 students. The courses offered by the college include business administration, criminal justice, engineering, environmental science, fine and liberal arts, and health science and hospitality administration. It also provides additional programs, such as applied engineering, computer information systems, culinary arts, nursing, respiratory care, early childhood education, entrepreneurial studies and physical fitness. The amenities offered by the college include library, media center, auditorium, museum, and dining and lodging facilities. It also provides a variety of services to students, such as career counseling, financial aid, scholarships and medical assistance. Berkshire Community College is located in Pittsfield, Mass., and is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.
