In 1955, he was installed as VP of Orlando Automobile and truck dealer Association in recognition of his contribution to Central Florida and the business community. Bill Ray, Jr. continued the tradition by opening the Datsun franchise in 1973. Datsun vehicles were a natural for the Ray family.
