The Corona-College Heights Orange & Lemon Association, founded in 1899, is one of the largest independent citrus packing houses in California. It packs oranges, grapefruits and lemons in food service cartons, master containers and mesh bags. The association maintains electronic grading and advanced computer-controlled optic and sorting equipment and packing machines. Its processing lines features stainless steel wash beds and wax applicators. The Corona-College Heights Orange & Lemon Association also operates a fleet of forklifts and has more than 550 members. The association s lemon line packs over 1,500 cartons per hour and its orange line handles nearly 3,000 cartons an hour.
