Mercy Medical Center is a 130-plus year old, Catholic health care facility and teaching hospital for the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Mercy is part of Mercy Health Services, which also includes Stella Maris, Central Marylands largest long-term/geriatric care facility located in Timonium, Md., as well as a network of community health centers. Mercy is also home to the $47 million Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Center for Women s Health and Medicine at 227 St. Paul Place. Mercys Childrens Health Outreach Project offers health care and related services to more than 540 women and homeless children. The Supportive Housing Program provides housing placement and case management services to more than 100 families.
