Midwest Industrial Tools has been a full-service industrial distributor of maintenance, repair, operations and production tooling and industrial supplies since 1970. It sells to industrial manufacturing customers in Nebraska, western Iowa and southeastern South Dakota. The company has 30 employees and represents manufacturers such as 3M, Sandvik Coromant, Garr Tool, Dayton Progress, Cooper Power Tools, Reiff & Nestor Company and Allied Machine & Engineering. In 1969, MIT was headquartered in Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minn., and operated as Minnesota Industrial Tools, the parent company. Minnesota Industrial Tools has branches in Milwaukee; Cedar Rapids, Iowa; San Francisco; Los Angeles; and Tampa, Fla. The Omaha, Neb., branch of the company operates from a 10,000-square-foot facility.
