Churchill Downs Louisiana Horseracing was formed in 1941 to oversee the business affairs of Fair Grounds Race Course, a horseracing park located in New Orleans, La. The racetrack is owned and operated by Churchill Downs Incorporated. Churchill Downs Incorporated owns and operates world-renowned horse racing venues throughout the United States. The company s six racetracks in Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Louisiana, include the historic Churchill Downs, which has hosted the Kentucky Derby for more than 130 years, and picturesque Arlington Park in Illinois.
