Fatz Caf is a casual family restaurant. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week. It serves generously-sized salads, sandwiches and entrees, which includes steak, seafood and the Fatz Caf s World Famous Calabash Chicken. Fatz Caf in Lincolnton, N.C., is one of more than 20 Fatz Cafes in North Carolina and South Carolina. Fatz Caf restaurants employ more than 2,000 people. In 2003, Fatz Caf was named one of the hottest growth chains by Restaurant Hospitality magazine. The first Fatz Caf opened in a converted peach shed in Spartanburg, S.C., in 1988. The Fatz Caf restaurants are owned and operated by Caf Enterprises.
