Harlan ARH Hospital is a state-licensed, nearly 150-bed acute care facility. The hospital is built upon a more than 40-year reputation as a regional health care center that provides specialty medical services and community-based care. The hospital is fully accredited, on a voluntary basis, by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Some of the hospital services provided include community wellness, dietetic services, emergency, home health, laboratory, medical imaging, physical and occupational therapy, rehabilitation, sleep lab, speech-language pathology, surgical services and womens health. It also sponsors diabetes support groups and health fairs and screenings. Harlan ARH Hospital is a member of the Appalachian Regional Healthcare Medical Centers of the Mountains organization and is located in Harlan, Ky.
