Hurd Road Elementary School, located in Monroe, Mich., enrolls more than 400 students in kindergarten through grade four. The teacher to student ratio is 1-to-19. The school prepares students through a flexible education system, which begins their development into well-rounded adults. It enables them to work cooperatively in a safe, supportive and nurturing learning environment. Students apply problem-solving strategies learned through written, oral, technological and experiential applications in the classroom.
