Jenkins Elementary School serves students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Located in Hickory, N.C., the school imparts reading skills to elementary-grade students through phonics instruction. Additionally, Jenkins Elementary School conducts classes in art, music, physical education, library skills, science and computer applications. The school also has a library and media center that provides a variety of resources, such as books, journals, magazines and Internet access.
