Jimi Hendrix Memorial located at Greenwood Memorial Park is a beautiful and timeless monument. It was commemorated on June 10, 2002, but is still a work in progress. As of now, three granite pillars brace a large granite dome. On the inside of each pillar, images of Hendrix are carved. Additional carvings on the outside include his signature. A life-sized bronze statue is in progress in Italy; it will be placed in the center of the memorial, under the granite dome. More than 14,000 fans from all around the world visit this memorial each year.
