Established in 1989, the Lost Valley Educational Center is a nonprofit learning institute that provides a range of educational courses and programs. It operates an educational facility, Ecovillage and Permaculture Institute, which offers classes in a variety of subjects, such as restoration, landscaping, organic food production, green building, eco-village design, green community planning, interpersonal wellness, and legal, economic and decision making systems. The center additionally maintains a retreat and conference facility that features guest rooms and meeting rooms. Its meeting rooms can accommodate up to 70 guests for lunch parties and business seminars. The center offers course design, outreach internship and accommodation services. The Lost Valley Educational Center is located in Dexter, Ore.
