Established in 1946, Lutheran High School North offers a range of academic and extracurricular options to students in grades 9 through 12. The school is a member of the National Alliance of High Schools. Its syllabus includes English, mathematics, science, social studies, language arts and music. The school conducts classes in fine arts, algebra, family and consumer science, and business, physical and special education. It also offers various sports programs, including basketball, baseball, softball and cheerleading. The school provides academic programs in ceramics, printing, and concert choir and band. It maintains a computer laboratory, as well as a library and media center that stocks books and periodicals. In addition, Lutheran High School North sponsors the National Honor Society, as well as operates a student council. Located in St. Louis, the school is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and National Lutheran Schools.
