Medstar Ambulance is a nonprofit community service that provides paramedics, emergency medical service (EMS) care and transportation to several communities in Macomb and Wayne counties in Massachusetts. Located Fitchburg, Mass., Medstar also provides mobility services for patients needing transportation to appointments, rehabilitation and dialysis. The company s programs are designed to provide on-time transportation assistance in meeting the needs of patients who are successfully recuperating outside of the hospital setting. Medstar is led by a volunteer board of directors, which oversees the chief executive officer, management team and employees. Medstar Ambulance is the only nationally accredited EMS agency in Macomb and Wayne counties.
