Located in Jefferson City, Mo., Missouri Alliance for Children and Families facilitates planning and service implementation. It uses a family-driven, multi-disciplinary team approach and offers services to families with children who have serious emotional problems. The center is under contract with the Missouri Departments of Social Services. It supports community-based alternatives for seriously emotionally disturbed children. The center s support team approaches to service planning with assistance of the child, family, relatives, providers, school personnel and other invested people using the wraparound process. Missouri Alliance for Children and Families has many partners, including Boys & Girls Town of Missouri, Butterfield Youth Services, Cornerstones of Care, Edgewood Childrens Center and Evangelical Childrens Home.
