Mt. Comfort Elementary School serves educational needs of more than 550 students and offers classes from grades kindergarten through four. The school offers instruction in math, science and technology, media studies, language arts, social studies, English, computer science, health education, arts and crafts, music and, physical education. It also offers various extracurricular activities, such as group singing, math club, math pentathlon, peer tutoring and student council. The school has a parent-teacher association that caters to the needs of students and helps them in achieving academic excellence. Located in Greenfield, Ind., Mt. Comfort Elementary School operates under the guidelines set by the Mt. Vernon Community School Corporation.
