Mt. McKinley Animal Hospital was founded in 1971 by James F. Sachtjen, DVM and was accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) in 1976. It is through Dr. Sachtjens dedication to quality care for companion animals that Mt. McKinley Animal Hospital has grown during the last thirty-five years to include over 31 compassionate team members providing veterinary care for your pet(s). Our six veterinarians work together to provide comprehensive care for your loved companion animal. Being accredited by AAHA means that our hospital has voluntarily undergone close scrutiny to prove that we abide by the highest standards and provide the highest level of care possible. We have proven excellence in five areas as outlined by AAHA: quality of care, diagnostics and pharmacy, management, medical records and facility.
