Founded in 1973,Mystic Pizzafamously starred in the major 1988 movie of the same name. The restaurant continues to celebrate its Hollywood connection with a screen in the front which has the movie on repeat. Two main dining rooms give customers the choice of table, booth or counter. The walls are decked out with movie memorabilia and other decoration. There are also numerous souvenirs, such as T-shirts, postcards, DVDs and a coin-pressing machine, available for movie fans. Restaurant-goers can also enjoy the basic pizza with choice of toppings, or try pizza specialties, such as Vegetarian Delight and Texas Chicken Pizza. Mystic Pizza also does, salads, pasta dinners, hot and cold grinders, calzones, pizza wraps and appetizers such as deep-fried pickles or hot fries. A grill serves up burgers and sandwiches. Food is available for take out and, after 4pm, delivery.
