New Vistas School, founded in 1986, is a private, independent, nonprofit day institute that offers an individualized instructional program for students with learning and attention difficulties. The school serves students in kindergarten through grade 12. It offers instruction in studio arts, drama, and vocal and instrumental music, as well as publishes a newsletter. New Vistas School also provides guidance counseling services. The school offers classes in a selection of subjects, such as math, reading, science and social studies. In addition, it organizes educational field trips to museums, art clubs and gardens. New Vistas School hosts spirit weeks and ring dance events.
