Oil City Middle School is a coeducational institution that provides learning opportunities for students in grades six through eight. The school teaches physical education and health, science, music, art, reading, technology, math, science, social studies, special education, English and language arts. Oil City Middle School has a library media center that provides access to newspapers, books and research guides, as well as offers an accelerated reader program. It offers a variety of sports activities, such as soccer, cheerleading, cross country, football, field hockey, tennis, volleyball, softball, and track and field.
