The stadium opened as The Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Arena on November 9, 1996 with the construction taking just two and a half years at a cost of just over $25 million, $177 million in present day dollars. The most recent renovation was in 1996. Currently, the Oracle Arena houses the Golden State Warriors.The Golden State Warriors are two time NBA Champions and are members of the Pacific Division of the Western Conference within the NBA.  They are known by their team colors consisting of blue and yellow.
