Originally a family farm, the Perkerson family donated this 50-acres of land to city of Atlanta officials who turned it into a park in the 1950s. The park includes little league, softball and baseball fields, six tennis courts, a basketball court, a 100-person picnic pavilion, and two uncovered picnic areas with grills.
