Pine Lake Covenant Church charts its history on the Sammamish Plateau back to the 1960s, when Robert Larson helped buy land for a place to worship and to serve families. By 1982, residents from the area had signed a charter for a "new faith community"—one that would serve the areas around Issaquah and Redmond. The church was built. Membersheld theirfirst church service on Easter in 1989. Today, the Christian church is committed to being a "City on a Hill" and often weaves music and prayer togetherduring worship services. Church members believe in one God who is the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
