Established in 1998, Rivercrest Elementary School serves more than 1,000 students in grades kindergarten through five. It is operated by the Shelby County Schools and is located in Bartlett, Tenn. The school has a library that offers a collection of geographical reference sources, general reference materials, biographical sources, books and catalogs. The school s core curriculum areas include math, science, social studies, music, physical education, health, art, English, reading, writing and technology. Rivercrest Elementary School provides various sports activities that include soccer, handball, volleyball, jump rope, basketball, softball, baseball, and track and field. The elementary school also has a wide variety of clubs and organizations for student participation.
