Saint Katherine's Day School provides special education for students ages four-and-a-half to 21 years who have cognitive and physical challenges. The school offers a life-skills program to help students become more independent. It also offers physical, speech and occupational therapy classes as well as musical therapy and adaptive physical education.
The school develops an Individual Education Plan (IEP) for each student, which provides goals for the year. Math and reading programs are available, as is the Life Skills class, which helps students improve their eating, dressing, self-care, behavioral and social skills.
