La Sierra Academy is an independent, Christian college preparatory school. Located in Riverside, Calif., the institution enrolls more than 800 students in grades kindergarten through 12. The school s curriculum includes English, Spanish, Latin, language arts, Bible studies, mathematics, social studies, science, art, computer technology and physical education. It also offers creative dance and music classes. It organizes a variety of events, such as field trips, science fairs, fund-raisers and theater productions. It provides various sports activities, including volleyball, cross-country, basketball, tennis, cheerleading, golf and soccer. It also offers library and computer laboratory facilities. Additionally, the school provides cafeteria and transportation services for its students. La Sierra academy is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
