Established in 1984, AIDS Services of Austin is one of the largest community-based providers of AIDS-related social services and dental care in Texas. It provides various HIV prevention strategies, including behaviorally targeted interventions for at-risk population and case management services. The organization also houses Q, which is a community organization that is operated for and by the young gays and guys of ages 18 to 29. In addition, it offers testing and counseling services and emergency funds and legal assistance programs.
