Aiming to help a variety of 12-step programs and their participants succeed at conquering addiction, the West Hollywood Recovery Center has an open door policy for anyone who is interested in joining, visiting or supporting the cause. They work with groups such as Alcoholics Anonymous, Crystal Meth Anonymous, Overeaters Anonymous, Sexual Compulsives Anonymous and several more to provide a safe and inviting place for addicts to face their addictions and begin the recovery process. The building is large, with multiple rooms for simultaneous meetings, and the staff is friendly and more than happy to answer any questions interested parties might have.
The Alano Club is a nonprofit organization that provides a clean, sober and safer environment for recovering alcoholics and other addicts. Groups that meet at the club include members of Alcoholics Anonymous, Marijuana Anonymous, Crystal Meth Anonymous and Sex Addicts Anonymous.
Alano is open seven days a week and receives more than 2,000 visits a month.
