This is the headquarters of the Middlesex County chapter of the National Council On Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (NCADD). Since 1980 it has been serving the community with outreach and educational programs. It operates the Jason Surks Memorial Prevention Resource Center, which offers pamphlets, books, videos and database access to information about drug and alcohol abuse and dependence. The Institute for Human Development is a nonprofit agency that has been providing chemical addiction services to the residents of New Jersey since 1969.
