Shores Cleaners was founded in 1948 on English Rd. in High Point, N.C. Shores quickly gained the reputation of quality and caring service from the local clientele. In 1982, Shores Cleaners was purchased by the Edwards. The name was changed to Shores Fine Dry Cleaning to reflect the Edwardss vision and Shores reputation for cleaning specialty garments and wedding gowns. Customers used to drive from Winston-Salem and Greensboro to experience the difference. This encouraged us to open locations in these cities so we could serve our discriminating clientele more conveniently. Though we have experienced quite a bit of growth since our days as a small family cleaner in downtown High Point, Shores Fine Dry Cleaning continues to provide individual attention to each garment, unsurpassed customer service, and the best name in fabricare in the Triad.
