The English Center is a full-service adult education center that provides access to literacy, vocational and community education, while building learning communities designed to maximize student success. Its student services and development center offers job placement, career planning, immigration and political refugee guidance, psychological and academic counseling, and various other areas of expertise that assist learners. It offers programs and services to develop students vocational, social, technological, physical and emotional potential in a self-paced and supportive environment. It offers various services, such as child day care, bookstore, financial aid, programs for students with disabilities, student counseling, programs for adult students with special needs, and a media center. Its skills for academic, vocational and English studies program addresses the educational and professional needs of new immigrants to the United States. The English Center is located in Miami.
