Founded in 1948, Fair Lawn's volunteer ambulance corps deploys crews to staff three modern and fully equipped ambulences. In addition to emergency services, the corps provides non-emergency transportation to local hospitals for residents who need oxygen therapy or other kinds of medical assistance.
Transmed Ambulance Transport, Inc. provides emergency ambulance vehicles for 911 calls. Staff is trained for emergency response procedure, providing basic life support and transport services to patients.

Mahwah AmbulanceCompany #4 is a completely volunteer organization that relies on dedicated locals to provide emergency service to the community. Much of the team consists of retired police officers, nurses, doctors, paramedics and other field professionals. Founded in 1971, the company trains all of its members in EMS and other services. Emergency ambulances are available to residents in Mahwah 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This service responds to 911 emergency calls.
