When Ray O. Cook Co. was founded in 1947, central heating systems were starting to become popular and central air conditioning was a luxury only few could afford. Harry S. Truman was president and World War II had just ended a few years prior. As time went on, our country celebrated post war times and central heating coupled with central air conditioning became more popular. As popularity grew along with heating and cooling technology, Ray O. Cook grew with the industry as well.
