The owner of this custom framing shop purchased the storefront from a framing company that had been in business for over 70 years. Rodolfo Olortegui considers himself an artist by trade. When his customers bring in their work, he helps them to realize their art works' potential through mattes and frames. Rodolfo oversees two apprentices and does all of the framing himself.

Kala Art Institute offers traditional art classes as well as residency programs and fellowships that allow artists with fewer resources to continue to develop their art.
